Please note: This Safari will depart any day of the week with a minimum of 2 persons booking.
Transportation can either be by a safari minibus or by 4×4 Land Cruiser (Jeep), depending on your choice or budget too.
The Safari can be customized further if you like. Kindly make an enquiry email to let us know if you would want some changes included in the itinerary.

Day 1: Arusha

Arrive Kilimanjaro Airport.
Meet and transfer to Lake Duluti Serena Hotel for Dinner and Overnight, HB.

Day 2: Arusha National Park

Depart after breakfast with picnic lunch boxes for a full day at Arusha National Park.
Guided walking safari plus game drives.
Return to Lake Duluti Serena Hotel for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara

Depart Arusha in the morning driving to Lake Manyara arriving Lake Manyara Serena Lodge for lunch.
Afternoon game drive at Lake Manyara National Park, whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos and other bird species.
Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

Depart in the morning driving via Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park arriving Serengeti Serena Lodge for lunch.
Afternoon game drive.
Dinner and Overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

Enjoy a morning and afternoon game drive in the endless plains of Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of the migratory wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade.
All Meals and Overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge.

Day 6: Ngorongoro

epart in the morning for Ngorongoro via Olduvai Gorge, site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries.
Arrive Ngorongoro Serena Lodge for lunch. Afternoon at leisure with optional visit to a local Maasai village.
Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

After breakfast, descend into the crater tour with lunch boxes for a full day crater tour and game drives.
Return to Ngorongoro Serena Lodge for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 8: Tarangire National Park

Depart Ngorongoro after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park, arriving Tarangire Sopa Lodge for lunch.
Afternoon game drive.
Dinner and Overnight at Tarangire River Camp.

Day 9: Tarangire National Park

Spend the day in Tarangire with morning and afternoon game drives. The Lesser kudu, eland, lion and generuk can be found in Tarangire, noted for its multitude of the giant baobab trees.
Dinner and overnight at Tarangire River Camp.

Day 10: Back to Arusha/Out

Depart in the morning and drive back to Arusha.
Lunch at Arusha Hotel, then transfer back to Kilimanjaro Airport for flight back home.End of services.

    Ammos, Lawrence and I promised to send you our comments on the safari that you arranged for us. Let me start by stating that Ishmael Juma was the perfect guide/driver for us. He was personable, flexible, resourceful and extremely knowledgable. Nothing seemed to discourage him as he quickly handled any problem which arose. The way that he dealt with the suspension problem is an example of his abilities. In short, he was great! All of the hotel accommodations were fine, but the food at Mara Serena Safari Lodge was mediocre. The service was great at all of the lodgings. We learned about the ?off road permit? in the Mara when I questioned why one of the adjacent trucks had left the road to get closer to some lions. It would have been nice to know about that in advance so that we could have purchased a permit at the beginning of our trip. You and Ishmael went out of your way to get us the permit after we asked; it made a big difference in our pictures. Thank you and your staff for arranging a wonderful experience for us. It may have been my last trip to Africa as age is quickly catching up with me, but I suspect that Lawrence will return, perhaps soon and often. We both will recommend Africa Safari Discovery to our friends for the best safari experience in East Africa. Larry Capt.
